Splitproof is built for musicians, not marketers. This page explains what we collect (spoiler: almost nothing) and how we handle it.
No accounts, no logins
Splitproof does not require you to create an account. We don't collect emails, passwords, or profile data to use the splitsheet generator.
Your drafts live in your browser
Splitsheet drafts are stored locally in your browser (local storage). They are not uploaded to our servers. Clearing your browser data will delete your drafts.
Exports are yours
When you export a splitsheet as a PDF, the file is generated in your browser and downloaded to your device. We do not retain a copy.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand overall traffic (page views, referrers, general region). We do not use cookies to track individuals across the web, and we do not sell data to third parties.
Contracts module
If you choose to use contracts.splitproof.co, that module may temporarily process the splitsheet you upload in order to generate a production agreement. Uploaded files are processed for that purpose only.
Third-party services
Splitproof loads fonts from Google Fonts and is hosted on infrastructure that may log basic request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to profile you.
Children's privacy
Splitproof is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
